Sonam Wangchuk Shifted to Hospital, Fresh Protests Begin
The Delhi Police shifted climate activist Sonam Wangchuk from the Jantar Mantar protest site to Safdarjung Hospital, drawing heavy criticism from opposition leaders. Wangchuk, who had been on an indefinite hunger strike demanding constitutional safeguards for Ladakh, refused medical intervention at the hospital. Meanwhile, the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has stepped in to keep the agitation alive, with founder Abhijeet Dipke launching a fresh indefinite hunger strike and vowing to march on Parliament.
